// business problems solved with technology
I figure out where tech can help your business punch above its weight… then build it.
I find the bottlenecks and repetitive manual tasks in your business, the stuff that eats up your team's time, and work out the best way to get computers to do it instead. You get more done without hiring more people.
What does that look like in real life?

Dave technically revolutionised our company. The systems he built pulled us years ahead of everyone else in the industry. While our competitors were still taking orders over the phone, our customers were buying online with instant pricing. Nobody else was doing that.David Haddrell, iWood
What Dave built for us was genuinely groundbreaking. He didn't just use the latest technology. He invented technology to solve our problem. The 3D designer he created didn't exist anywhere else in the world. That's not something you hear very often.Simon Purchase, Oak Timber Structures
I am in awe of how Dave can explain and make everyone feel so comfortable about technology that even many business leaders struggle to understand.Nathan Morgan, Newsletter Builder Pro
We've invited David back twice now because of the feedback we had from our team. His relaxed yet info-packed style really gets through to and resonates with his audience.Mark Pennington, EPX Technical Services
David exceeded our expectations. He supported us every step of the way, and the finished website is clean, professional, and perfectly represents our company.William McCloskey, City Decor Ltd
Dave lives and breathes AI in his daily life, then packages up the lessons for the stage so we can all learn from them.Daniel Ellis, PC Power Save
Things I hear a lot from business owners
"Our quoting process involves about 4 emails, a spreadsheet, and a fair bit of guesswork."
I can help with this → [payments]"We spend half a day every week chasing invoices and following up on late payments."
I can help with this → [data]"Someone on the team manually copies data from one system into another, every single day."
I can help with this → [reporting]"It takes someone a whole morning to pull together the numbers for our weekly report."
I can help with this → [onboarding]"Every time we get a new customer, there's about 12 steps that someone has to remember to do."
I can help with this → [knowledge]"These two can't go on holiday at the same time because they're the only ones who know how to run the invoicing."
I can help with this →I've worked with businesses in all sorts of industries
Don't see your industry? Ask me anyway. The problems are usually similar.
How I work
I keep things pretty simple. No jargon, no long proposals, no committees.
I get under the bonnet
I learn how your business actually runs day to day. The bottlenecks, the workarounds, the stuff that takes longer than it should. That's where the opportunities are.
I figure it out and build it
I work out the best approach and build the solution. Not a proposal, not a roadmap. The actual working thing. You'll see progress quickly because it's just me, getting on with it.
I stick around
I don't disappear after launch. I keep an eye on things, fix what needs fixing, and improve what can be improved. It's an ongoing relationship, not a one-off job.
Some things I've built recently
Order Processing System
Replaced a manual order process, took throughput from 5 to 25 orders per person per day, and helped 5x company revenue.
Oak Garden Products
Built a business to £1.4m revenue with 3 part-time staff, powered by a 3D product designer and end-to-end automation.

One person who speaks both languages
I'm as comfortable talking to a business owner about their margins as I am writing the code that improves them. That means nothing gets lost between what you need and what gets built.
I'm not tied to one platform, one language, or one way of doing things. I use whatever tool solves the problem best, and I use modern AI to move at a pace that would normally need a small team. You get one person who understands your business and takes responsibility for everything.
I live and breathe this. Technology is a headache for a lot of business owners, but for me it's just what I do. If you bring me a problem, I'll sort it out. Not in six months after a discovery phase and a roadmap. Quickly, properly, and without making it feel complicated.
